Brave the Crave uses cognitive behavioral therapy to help break dependence on e-cigarettes.
With a user-friendly interface and a simple, functional design, the app helps users understand their triggers and helps them build resistance to their urges so they can exercise control over their cravings, which is ultimately the key to overcoming addiction. By providing alternate healthier activities to be a distraction until the urge to vape passes, the app puts time between the trigger and the vaping, breaking the glue that holds them together.
The app also tracks statistics, such as common triggers, number of times users have ‘braved the crave’ or given in, and what alternate activities have been successful or not.
The app also provides links to resources so that users are not alone in their journey to conquer their addiction.
